Along with a team of renowned artists like Muti Randolph, Paula Zemel, and Eduardo Chalabi, how could we collaborate, at the invitation of Renato Ratier, to transform the architecturally mundane yet extremely popular D. EDGE São Paulo nightclub into a revamped work of functional popular art?

Our hand-picked team of highly skilled artists and designers decomposed the original design, preserving the vital core architectural elements while expanding in every fathomable direction. The structure grew upwards in height, beyond the existing two stories to accommodate a new and intimate series of lounges for private experiences that included RGB lighting and individual sound systems, and an outdoor waiting space was integrated into the first floor, allowing for new and more comfortable curated guest experiences. With exterior architectural shifts, interior immersive sensory experiences including a mirrored dance floor andwalls of LED installations, a vast panoramic window, and a beautiful and relaxing rooftop terrace, we upped the ante at this already ever-popular Brazilian club.

On the second floor, the main dance floor is surrounded by mirrors and LED lights that sync to the music, providing an intense and immersive sensory experience. There is also a panoramic window that runs across the entire second floor, giving outsiders a small glimpse of the club’s aesthetic and personality.

The third floor was designed to accommodate small lounges for private groups to achieve a more intimate feel to the club. There are numerous cabins with RGB lighting and an individual sound system.

The rooftop was designed as an outdoor terrace with beautifully decorated benches that surround the space, which serves as a chill-out and smoke area.
