Dissolving stigmas and changing societal norms are pushing cosmetic dermatology practices into the popular zeitgeist and into an ever wider population’s consideration. For decades the industry has been dominated by single-location clinics with many shady characters and low accountability. For the Ever/Body founders, this pointed to a huge opportunity to launch the first truly trusted national brand in the dermatology space. The team tapped Cactus to develop a name, brand, visual ID, architectural concept and material palettes that would rise to the challenge of redefining the expectations in the category.
Cactus started with concepts for the physical space of the Ever/Body clinics, setting the design intent as something futuristic and scientific like a smart medical facility while at the same time creating a haven of calm energy — soothing like a spa or onsen. The architectural concepts formed the inspiration for the brand strategy, naming and graphical language of Ever/Body which strikes an inspirational, forward looking tone. Finally, plans were developed for a completely modular architectural scheme. Each treatment room perfectly designed to enhance the patient experience while at the same time allowing for reduced construction costs for follow-on locations — a key ingredient in the company’s plans for national expansion.
