Product Manager

Full-Time

Description

We are seeking a talented Product Manager to join our team to support and guide the development of new products and services across the health and wellness space. If you have a strong track record in consumer services leading the development of new experiences and bring a dedication to creating world-class digital products, we'd love to invite you to apply to this position.

Our Product Manager will collaborate with other cross-functional Cactus and client teams that span across design, engineering, strategy, and marketing to drive measurable outcomes for Cactus and our partners.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to understand business objectives, user behaviors, and product vision — acting as the primary point of contact across project execution and delivery.
  • Conduct stakeholder, landscape and user research to surface insights that inspire and inform product direction, feature ideas and iterations.
  • Develop and communicate a comprehensive product roadmap grounded in a clear product strategy; ensure all prioritization decisions ladder back to that strategy.
  • Drive alignment across client partners, business stakeholders, and internal contributors through clear, concise product definitions — including the product brief — that capture vision, goals, and key decisions.
  • Lead end-to-end execution of digital-physical projects across all phases — from discovery and concept design through development, QA, and post-launch iteration — owning detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, proactively spotting risks before they arise, and ensuring timely delivery at high quality.
  • Produce and own the full range of product artifacts across the lifecycle: project briefs, design briefs, feature requirements definition, design sprint plans, development sprint plans, development tickets, risk and decision trackers.
  • Navigate complex enterprise healthcare organizations with confidence — managing large stakeholder groups, building alignment across clinical, operational, and technical teams, and driving progress within environments shaped by legacy systems, regulatory constraints, and institutional inertia.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams — including creatives, strategists, engineers, and external partners — to communicate the product's vision, actively evaluate the work through a user and business lens, and ensure seamless, compelling launches.
  • Lead client prioritization exercises with confidence — facilitating trade-off conversations that are firm on scope and quality while ensuring clients feel heard. Set thoughtful boundaries backed by clear rationale and positive alternatives.
  • Champion evidence-based strategies for adoption and engagement. Promote rigorous data integrity, test methodology, and behavioral tracking. Obsess over the gap between what users say and what they do.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform research agendas and product prioritization. Effectively translate behavioral findings for design and engineering teams, fostering shared language and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Track and report on project performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with client objectives.
  • Leverage AI tools to streamline product workflows — using them as a thought partner for strategic decisions, identifying opportunities to reduce friction for design and engineering teams, and developing reusable prompts, skills, and resources that raise the capability of the broader PM practice.
  • Stay current on digital and physical technology trends.

Qualities

  • You have a bias toward action. You don’t wait to be told what to do or get all of the information before taking the next best step.
  • You raise your hand early. You know when you’re out of your depth and need to ask for help or escalate.
  • You identify what’s important to fight distraction. You keep the end goal in mind and prioritize accordingly.
  • You plan ahead. You demonstrate foresight by anticipating, documenting and mitigating risks.
  • You see your client as your ally. You know your client is the expert of their domain and you keep their business goals in mind. You find the intersection between what a client is uniquely positioned to offer and what their users need.
  • You advocate for the user. You talk to your users and bring their perspective to the table during design reviews, prioritization exercises and development. They are the raison d'être for every project.
  • You document everything. You’re organized and document tasks, decisions, risks, timelines, and more. Your team and your client are oriented and know where to find information without you.

Qualifications

  • 4 years experience as a Product Manager, seeing projects from ideation to launch.
  • Passion for building usable, delightful consumer products that innovate rather than imitate
  • Conviction to do the right thing for users and clients, with humility to listen and learn
  • Curiosity to understand the landscape and evolving consumer trends
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver presentations that drive alignment and understanding
  • Ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders
  • Flexibility to adapt to change and to thrive in a dynamic, discourse-driven environment
  • Experience with 0-1 design and development efforts and launching digital products
  • Proven history of using analytics to run 1-2+ product experiments to hit KPIs and inform additional research efforts.
  • Please note that if you don’t check every box, we’d still love for you to apply!

Compensation & Equal Opportunity

  • We offer a competitive compensation package based on experience and qualifications. The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $180,000 annually, with additional benefits, bonuses, and incentives. The final salary offer will be determined based on the candidate’s experiences, skills, and fit for the role.
