Designing a mobile-first platform for whole person health coaching
Cactus partnered with AdventHealth to design, develop, and launch the organization’s first-ever digital membership product. The mobile-first platform integrates lifestyle coaching into traditional clinical care, helping bridge the gap between in-office medical recommendations and at-home practice. The platform connects patients with trained coaches, supports goal setting and progress tracking, and delivers personalized educational content—empowering members to take action on their care plans and build sustainable, long-term health habits between visits.
Our team led UX, UI, frontend, and backend development, as well as design system creation, while partnering closely with AdventHealth’s internal teams to shape the full patient and coach experience. This included integrating with the system’s enterprise CRM to support personalized engagement, and incorporating Twilio to enable live, telehealth-based coaching sessions.
The result is a cohesive digital product that meets rising consumer demand for whole-person wellbeing, and opens new strategic opportunities across the organization.
